Sorry I’ve once again fallen off the blog train. Shits been hectic. I’m actually going away until June. Until then, keep that PMA, spread the 8, and smile for me!
Straight Up
Read very closely what Mike Giant said in an interview with Be Street magazine.

“It’s cool to see the rappers wearing our stuff, but I get just as stoked when I see a kid in my neighborhood wearing it. They’re equal in my eyes. I don’t care where you’re from, how old you are, or how famous you are. I don’t care if you’re a rapper, a skater, a punk, a tagger, or whatever. I’m just glad that you’re feeling what REBEL8 has to offer. Straight up.”
Austin
Went to Austin, Texas over the weekend. Had a blast! Unfortunately, this is the only photo I took. Shit got wierd. You missed out.

Tomales Bay
Took a trip up North to Tomales Bay this past Sunday.

I don’t give a shuck.

#OysterLife

This one was dope. Homemade chorizo on a fresh Tomales Bay oyster straight off the grill.

Partied all day with my tank sister.

I love this photo.

Zoom is crucial.

Happy birthday Veronica!
Spread The 8
Congrats to Willie Leake on winning our Instagram Spread The 8 sticker contest! Willie will be receiving over $300 of R8 merch. Thanks for the support Willie and keep spreading that 8!
There’s been a lot of debate about the authencity of this photo. I can say it most definitely is real. Truth be told, Willie actually works around planes all day. Check out his Instagram (@willie501kvlt). I’m more embarassed about the lack of registration on this little one-incher than anything!

If you didn’t know this was going down, make sure you like us on Facebook, follow us on Twitter, Tumblr, and Instagram (@REBEL8). BOOM!
About Us
Deeply rooted in skateboard, graffiti, and tattoo culture, REBEL8’s core purpose is to showcase their trademark lifestyle through unique products.
REBEL8 is one of the last authentic brands left that incorporate original artistic works within their pieces. Most graphics within the REBEL8 product line are hand illustrated, with no computer generated enhancements or manipulations. The man behind this original artwork at REBEL8 is the legendary tattoo and graffiti artist Mike Giant.
REBEL8 founder Joshy D. met Mike Giant in the late 1990’s in San Francisco’s then bustling graffiti scene. Joshy ran the popular graffiti website, HiFiArt, and Giant was one of the city’s most notorious writers. Years later, after a couple of brews, a few tattoos, and plenty of joints, Joshy approached Giant about creating a handful of t-shirt graphics. With $500, Joshy printed a small run of tees and sold them out of a messenger bag around the city. REBEL8 was born.
Now in it’s 9th year, Joshy D. runs the business and Mike Giant sees to the art as REBEL8 finds itself growing in many creative directions at once. Now an internationally recognizable brand, REBEL8 is still committed to the communities from which it comes, and strives to reinforce its unique lifestyle with every product.
Journey To The End
This is what Doug wrote to his US wholesale accounts. I am posting this because I think he forgot how to blog.
“A lot of you have been hitting us up, asking when the REBEL8 x Rancid collaboration will be dropping. Well, the time has finally come! Let me be the first to tell you all about it. This is a small capsule collection titled “Journey To The End”; paying homage to a band that everyone here at REBEL8 grew up listening to. I hope you are just as STOKED on this as we are. Tees, tanks, a hoodie, poster, stickers and even a cut ‘n sew top for the ladies.
This collaboration is special to me in a lot of ways. Rancid was one of the first bands that I ever really got into as a kid. I still remember when I got my first guitar, sitting in my bedroom trying to learn how to play “Salvation”. Growing up in a small town in Northern California, Rancid painted such an amazing picture of the SF/Bay Area in all of their lyrics. I always knew that I wanted to end up living here when I got older. It’s kind of crazy to look back on that now, living in the same neighborhood a lot of their songs were written about. I’ve actually gotten to know these guys a bit which is even crazier!”

Journey To The End will be available in select accounts this June.
Original Bandana
We haven’t made a bandana since ‘05. Not really sure why. This shit is gangsta. The ORIGINAL Bandana is available in our online shop for $8.
