REBEL8

Joshy gave me the green light to produce the skateboard deck of my dreams and and this is it.

They’re 10.5″ wide and 32″ long, just the way I like ‘em. They’ve got nice concave, not too deep. Great for pool skating. The shape is based on two of my favorite decks of all time, the Aaron “Fingers” Murray model and the Web model, both from Dogtown Skateboards circa 1985. The graphic is also a homage to my favorite Dogtown decks from that era. I can’t wait to ride one!

The walls at Zumiez are pretty great.

But the parking lot is straight freaky.

Not freaky in the scary or creepy way. Just freaky as in this car is trying to fuck.

Back up in Everett, Washington I had some amazing fried chicken thanks to this dude.

But as I sit here behind a behemoth of a desk, composing this very blog, I am filled with regret for not taking any of these plastic logo bags. I didn’t even grab one. And yes, I could have totally used them for my small trash can. Ugh!

The fried chicken was off the chain mang.

Been busy all day in the studio making REBEL8 graphics for you all.

Just a heads up about some upcoming events.

Friday evening, March 2nd I’ll be at Bloom Press at 2310 Telegraph Avenue in lovely downtown Oakland. I’ll be releasing 3 new poster designs.

Then on Saturday, March 10th I’ll be at PPC at 3290 22nd Street here in San Francisco I’m showing some new work at a Black Flag tribute show.

And then on Thursday, March 15th I’ll be at FTC at 1632 Haight Street for a special snowboard party with my old pal Bigfoot. The event was originally planned for March 1st but had to get pushed back 2 weeks. Please take note.
