Drawing, drawing, drawing…
Hope everyone has fun tonight! See you next year!
A few more photos of my trip to Lake Tahoe. Have a blessed day.

I painted a wall with my buddy Apex today.
He hooked up the background while I sketched out our names and filled them in with 10 cans of silver.
Took us two tall cans of black to do the outlines.
We knocked out a huge wall in just a few hours. Just like the old days! I’ll try to get a good flic of the whole wall later this week.
Swung by the Texas Roadhouse. I must say this is one of the coolest walls ever. I love taxidermy. I love Bud Light. And although I’m a Niners fan, the Raiders by far have the best logo and colors in the NFL. One nation. One beer. God bless.

And after the many pints of BL, the ribs, the pulled pork, the biscuits, the baked beans, the chili, and the house salad drenched in ranch, I walked on water.

It was surreal to say the least.

Have a wonderful Wednesday!
Hope everyone has been taking it easy and enjoying some time away from work. I’ve been drawing every day, as usual. I just don’t stop. I’ve been taking my medicine too. This week I’ve been toking Hindu Popcorn, Vanilla Kush, Amnesia Haze, Maui Wowie and Crazy Train.
I haven’t been taking photos lately, so I’m just gonna post another Oldie. This one is from Christmas 1990.
This photo was taken in Albuquerque at a place we called Monolithic. I think my buddy Agree took the photo. I was doing an “RK” piece for my homie MC Rock. I put a character from the Akira comics in the middle. I was obsessed with Akira at the time. My friends and I would take LSD and watch it over and over. I was painting with K-Mart silvers (88 cents a can back then) and stolen Krylon. My friend Doc is barely visible on the left side of the photo. He was doing a “TE” piece for his friend Tame who lived in Venice Beach, where Doc came from. The temperature was in the low 40s that afternoon. We had to keep our paint warm under our coats. I could carry about 12 cans in that jacket I was wearing. And how about those shelltoes? They even had fat laces in them. Remember what were you rocking in 1990?
Been wearing my HITCH HIKER every single day. I love it!

I titled this one, tiny Asian elf in Germany.

Women go CRAZY for babies. I think the ratio would be one baby to hella bitches.

I probably won’t blog until next week. So let me be the first to say Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays!
Last month Giant teamed up with The Hydrilla for the return of his Skullz Press party. PBR SF gave us a ton of beer and really got it goin.

ChaunceyCC held it down on the wheels of steel.

Giant had a bunch of rad drawings on display.

The REBEL8 offices will be closed from December 23-26, 2011. Any orders to be shipped before Xmas have to be placed by Noon this Thursday. And by the way, FedEx doesn’t deliver on Saturdays, so please choose overnight shipping. Happy Holidays!
This is REBEL8.

I. Joshy D. - I started this brand in 2003 when I was 23 years old. I didn’t start with much and I’m sure you already know the $500 story. I’m extremely thankful for all of your support. It’s unquestionable that I’m allowed to live out my dreams because of you. Thank you for being a REBEL8er!
II. Mike Giant – I was officially REBEL8’s first employee when Joshy got the brand started back in 2003. I’m also the only employee that doesn’t work at the warehouse. Since day one it’s been my job to draw stuff for Joshy to put on t-shirts and stuff. And my job hasn’t changed much at all since then, which is rad. It’s the best job I’ve ever had. And I work with the best crew.
III. Sarah Noel - I was hired on as a graphic and apparel designer at REBEL8 back in 2008. Having previously worked for the “man”, I’m proud to call this dysfunctional family my home.
IV. Kimi Yuki - I started at REBEL8 as an intern in 2007, and was hired as a full time employee in 2008. I work as an assistant designer and have a black belt in karate. I’m a Sagittarius, but not a true Sagittarius. So do what you will with that information. If I could have anything in the world, it would be a blank check, like that kid in that one Disney movie. I line my pockets with ziploc baggies everywhere I go in hopes of leftovers, just like the chauffeur in Blank Check!
V. Ramon Alatorre – I started working at REBEL8 in 2010. I feel lucky and stoked to be working for one the most amazing artists and brands.
VI. Ricky Rainin - I’ve been here 2 years. I am proud to have a part in such an amazing company and to help all of you incredible people out when you need it. I like you. Seriously.
VII. Doug Weber - I came on board with REBEL8 part time in 2009 for the holidays to help ship orders. Soon after that I was brought on full time to handle all shipping and receiving. Within the last few months I moved over to sales, and now I’ve been getting to go all over and visit our accounts, building a personal relationship with all of our buyers. It’s been a pretty cool experience to start at the bottom and work my way up through the company. We are a tight knit group and all get a long really well.
VIII. Kanin – I like to party.
Although not photoed, we can’t forget Vitti! Thee original Lady 8er.
