Chez Maman cheeseburgers are off the hook.
The Red Carpet Club at United is nice and all, but why are their cereal bowls so damn small?
Always trouble on my block.
Happy Friday!
Went to a great Chinese spot that had illustrations of tiny asses on fire, symbolizing the spice level of the dish.
Personally, I think Smart cars are retarded. But you really can’t front on this parking job.
Suadero and lengua. Delicioso.
The security cam missed a spot.
Spring ‘11 is in stores worldwide. Go get it!
Had sushi with a gypsy the other day.
I gnawed on a fish eye.
And had my very first sushi burrito. Bomb.
Big thanks to @chefontherun. Check out Kiji on Guerrero St. in San Francisco.
The trip to Thailand is coming to an end. We spent the last 3 days in Railay Beach which was the perfect place to end this amazing journey. It took us a ferry (the wrong one), a taxi van, a longtail, a tractor and finally, dragging our own luggage through the mud. But we made it!
We decided to splurge on the hotel since it was the last leg of the journey. This is the pool at the Bhu Nga Thani resort.
Snack time. Seaweed shrimp tempura or Mediterranean fisherman? I say tall, dark and handsome for the win.
Homemade barbwire fence is gangsta’.
There is shrine built inside the limestone cave which is dedicated to an ancient fertility goddess. Inside tis a collection of phallic symbols, offerings and objects believed to help with fertility.
Mister Man AKA Mr. Mac The Baby.
Monkey business.
Maybe I will be a fisherman in my next life.
Final, fin, finito, slutet. This was the final day. Leaving with tears in my eyes, I count down the days to my return.
Kob kun kaa. Pom kit teung koon.
Ciao for now.
There are quite a few blogs on the web this week from Vegas. Naturally so, it’s Magic! But I went, and saw, and was not impressed. Some of the “brands” showing are as pathetic as Shakira’s signature.
Zoom/really?
I did see a gross Red Rocker 100 oz. guitar though.
Went to the Set Your Goals & Parkway Drive show at the House of Blues. I love seeing random people rocking R8!
Got fucked up backstage.
Then straight off to the Famous party. So much fun! Famous is family.
Yela, Bun and Trav. I can’t wait until Trav’s album Give The Drummer Some drops. You’ll know what’s up! And I’m loving the latest video from Yelawolf and Bun B.
The Jew and Carla.
Jasmine, Nicole, Kia, Kendra, Krystal, and Carmen were also in attendance.
And with 3-hours sleep, it was me, Dougernaut and The Jew on the short train to our plane.
We good to go. Good to go.
I’m back in SF and I’m off again somewhere else tomorrow. Have fun!
It was February 13, 2005 and this was my first view of The Strip. Subsequently so, it was my first time in Las Vegas, Nevada. I was here to bring REBEL8 to the masses through the Pool Tradeshow.
I remember the room quite well at Mandalay Bay. I think I still remember the price of it. Not cheap even by today’s standards. My best friend Cole flew out to support and my girlfriend Vittoria who was deathly sick made the journey as well.
It was a different time; for me, for my brand, and just in general. I mean you’d be hard-pressed to find a tube TV in any hotel on The Strip today. I mean look at the quality of these photos. The Canon Digital Elph S110 at the time was the best mini digital camera on the market. This is what 2.1 megapixels looks like now.
Hours later after arriving I got a call from Giant saying he was downstairs. We went to meet him.
And there he was, Mr. Mike Giant. This is my favorite photo I’ve ever taken. This moment solidified REBEL8. It was official. We were going to do the damn thing.
Day one of four. Mike Giant & Joshy D.
For a few nights we all lived in the same suite, woke up at the same time, and spent the entire day at the booth as a family.
Over the course of the tradeshow Giant created a few originals right on the spot.
And by the last day when our friend John Hall came through to check things out our booth was complete.
I leave for Vegas again in a few days. It’s been 6 years of going to Vegas every 6 months. And although I’ve mastered where to eat and where to stay it’s always an adventure. Thank you for keeping R8 alive. It’s time to take it to the next level. Let’s go!
Music makes me lose control. These songs pretty much sum up the trip to the islands. In fact we heard so much dance music I had to make a playlist. I’m proud to say I’m a fan of top 40 dance hits. Fuck it. Live a little, stop being too cool and dance to the Black Eyed Peas. Don’t take yourselves too seriously. Not even a “dirty bit”
Check out these videos and shake a tailfeather: Alors On Dance, We No Speak Americano
What can I say? This is the life.
This was our view for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Oh and drink time too.
Catch of the day.
My daily dose. Who doesn’t love tequilla in a glass cup?
Green lagoon.
Hipster cowboy limbo machine. Yee haw, we like.
Making friends wherever we go.
This one is blurry cause I was caught in the moment. Dee getting low in her tropical dress.
I cannot wait to come back here. It’s like a fucking beer commercial but a zillion times better.
Off to Krabi. Ciao for now.
